Aside from the ridiculous fees VRBO is now charging the home owner and the renter, plus the annual fees, when a property gets rented, they keep your money! We have a new renter showing up next year.
They have paid in full and VRBO is refusing to give us OUR money for people renting OUR home. When I first called months ago wondering where our money was, customer service (located in some other country) said we would get it the day before or after our guest arrives because our rental is new.
I just called requesting our money again because my husband was laid off due to Covid 19, and now customer service is saying we won't get our money for several days after the renter arrives because of Covid 19 and people cancelling trips. After seeing other posts, I am concerned that VRBO will either take a lot longer to give us our money, or we may never see it, even after the renter leaves.
User's recommendation: Do not use VRBO to list or rent from.
