VRBO continues to refuse to help. There is never a manager or supervisor available on the phone.

I have finally received a couple of rejection emails only after a TV station did an interview with me. Even after that, VRBO refuses to help. They care nothing for their customer losses. After the TV interview, a processing fee of 300 euros was promised but never delivered.

This is an evil company! AirBnB is trying to refund all losses for their guests but not VRBO. You are on your own.To add insult to injury, my credit card co. "Barclay's" won't help either.

Who would ever pay big bucks for a vacation rental overseas knowing you are on your own to deal with an unethical owner? No one! Such deceit and false advertising/bad faith/deceptive business practices.They know no lawyer will help the little guy, so they hide behind their corporate lawyers and let their customers hang. Shame on you, VRBO!

VRBO refuses to help us in any way. They are keeping our $4,397 and not issuing full credit voucher as promised in the contract.Additionally, the owner fraudulently altered our contract from 2 months to 3 days without our knowledge, to perpetrate more deceit. The owner threatened us with "legal action" if we did not write a positive review, although we never stayed there.

Our contract stated we were to be issued full credit vouchers in case of a border closure due to Covid. That happened, but the credit voucher was denied and VRBO kept our $4,390 for the 2-month stay.

Despite many emails and phone calls, VRBO refuses to address this or help us; stating we are on our own with this deceitful owner. VRBO is NOT on the guest's side. They only care about the owners and even kept their own $300 processing fee. Not even a refund for that.

Stay far away from this corrupt company, and the Dona Lola Resort/Caribasol Management in Malaga, Spain. We're out $4,390 with nothing to show for it.

User's recommendation: Do NOT use VRBO. They will not help you in the event of a problem.
